In 1919 Lazar Markovich Lissitzky made the work commonly called "Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge." Almost one hundred years later, Rick Griffith says, "We've been here before." Griffith re-orients the pages of black publications into formats which resemble art. And with that - carries the weight of its content into both the past and the future simultaneously.
