Lane Meyer Projects Lane Meyer Projects is pleased to present The Mudd Club. This participatory group show is a nod to the famous NYC club that was active from 1978 - 1983. The Mudd Club was always a place for artists, musicians, writers, punks, performers, observers and people who just wanted to be a part of a scene.
Lane Meyer Projects put out an open call for artists to hang an artwork and keep the work on view until April 30, 2023. The amalgamation shows similarities to the diverse crowd Mudd attracted and provides an opportunity to open our doors to the artistic talent of Colorado. Lane Meyer Projects will take no part in sales and encourages artists to trade with each other, in hopes we all meet someone new.
All artists are invited to bring your own art to hang in the gallery. Hanging opportunities were April 12, 13 and 14, 2023 starting at 8pm - late. We ask that the artwork be a wall-work that is ***no larger than 48 x 48" (one piece) or 36 x 36” (two pieces)*** (no video/sculpture). Two pieces max per artist!! Will provide nails and labels.
