A Tribute To the Mudd Club

Lane Meyer Projects is pleased to present Downtown: A Tribute to the Mudd Club, a group show featuring artworks by local Colorado artists.

October 19, 2018 - November 1, 2018

Opening Reception: Friday October 19th, 6 - 9pm

Downtown: A Tribute to the Mudd Club is a nod to the famous NYC club that was active from 1978 - 1983. The Mudd Club was always a place for artists, musicians, writers, punks, performers and people who just want to be a part of a scene. Lane Meyer Projects put out an open call for artists to hang an artwork and keep the work on view until November 1, 2018. The amalgamation shows similarities to the diverse crowd Mudd brought in and an opportunity to open its doors to the artistic talent of Colorado. Lane Meyer Projects took no part in sales and encouraged artists to trade with each other, in hopes we would all meet someone new.
